Prof. Binh Nam Tran

Professor Binh Tran is a professor of taxation with an economics background. He obtained his PhD from the School of Economics at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1982. Before returning to UNSW Sydney as a lecturer in taxation in 1991, he was a lecturer in economics at the University of Auckland (1982–1985) and Deakin University (1989–1991), and a National Research Fellow at the Centre for Applied Economic Research at UNSW (1985–1990). He has also held short-term academic appointments at several institutions, including the University of Technology Sydney, Nagoya City University, the University of California, Santa Barbara, Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Ton Duc Thang University, and RMIT University Vietnam.
